This is a publicly viewed, member-only, edit-ready site that I created to provide a place where the students of EDL 695 can share their ideas and post interesting links to help us expand our knowledge of Technology and Information Management on our journey to becoming administrators (or improve upon what we already know - for those who already are administrators).
What is a wiki? A wiki is a web 2.0 tool used to collaborate and communicate as a group online. Click hereto find out more about it. So, how do you make a wiki? It's surprisingly easy! This is the first wiki that I have ever made, and I did it in one day. Did I mention that it is FREE?!? Here is a Small Bytes pdf. about wikis.

Resources for Making a Wiki: Teachers First Wiki Walkthrough provides a comprehensive, easy-to-read guide that explains exactly what a wiki is and how a wiki works. I would start there. Then, I would mosey over to Rhondda’s blog, where she features Jennifer Carrier Dorman’s wiki walkthrough as well as a link to the video Wiki In Plain English. Once you are well-versed in wiki, go to Wikispaces, where you can set up your own FREE wiki (wikispaces is not the only provider of wikis - watch the video to see others).
